Care & Maintenance

Fine jewelry should be treated with care. It is best practice to remove your jewelry when coming home and to put it back on when leaving.

Avoid wearing your jewelry during activities that will cause impact or abrasion (i.e. sports, gardening, etc.).

Being aware of such, can lengthen the life of a piece dramatically, as well as lessen the chances of damaging an item.

Some hand carved gemstones and high dome cabochons can be delicate, especially in rings. Make sure to not put pressure on the surface of the stone. Opals and Pearls can easily be scratched. Wear them with care.

To clean most items, we recommend using a chemical-free dish soap, warm water and a soft toothbrush.

Translucent stones with a closed backing should not be submerged into water and should not come in contact with lotions, oils or creams.
